Job Description:Part of the Telecare family, Garfield Neurobehavioral Center is a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) providing medical, nursing and rehabilitative services for up to 46 individuals with neurobehavioral illness. Garfield primarily serves adults between the ages of 18-59 who have disruptive behavior due to organic disorders. Garfield is operated by Telecare Corporation under contract with Alameda County. POSITION OBJECTIVE The Food Service Worker is the staff member that performs tasks that involve assisting in the preparation, assembly and servicing of food within the facility. In addition, the Food Service Worker ensures that the facility's dietary and dining room areas are clean and meet sanitary regulations at all times.
