JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Director of Marketing - Consumer Product Goods (CPG) Marketing Experienced Office Location: Sacramento, California We have an exciting and very rewarding career opportunity for a highly skilled, experienced and accomplished; Director of Marketing within our corporate office in Sacramento, CA. It is key, that this Director of Marketing have a Consumer Product Goods (CPG) marketing background, marketing consumer product goods to major retail stores such as Walmart, Target, Kroger, Walgreens, etc. This dynamic professional will be leading the charge of retail expansion of Rapid Brands products from a marketing perspective. We are looking for a seasoned professional that will enjoy working within a fast-paced team environment. Someone that is excited by the challenges of this role, and wants to make his/her mark in our incredibly dynamic company. Director of Marketing Overall Role & Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and drive all Rapid Brands marketing efforts by creating and developing global strategies, content, product and communication assets to drive product sales in order to achieve optimal sales and profits, and brand awareness. Development and execution of social media marketing plans based on understanding of consumer, customer, and channel or market trends. Experience deploying successful social media campaigns and deploying marketing strategies for B2B and B2C. Strong experience in PR, placements, etc. Work closely with both internal staff and external partners to clearly articulate brand/ product marketing objectives and strategies. Prepares product presentations for trade shows and provides support when needed during customer presentations. Identifies synergies for Rapid Brands marketing plans through strategic alliances with external parties. Generates consumer insights through significant understanding of global consumer, shopper, customer and channels and applies that understanding to marketing plans and products. Closely partners with Design, Packaging, Content and Product Development team across all stages of development process. Reviews results of marketing program to support development and on-going refinement of marketing plans and specific product segments. Formulates contingency plans to deliver annual goals. Evaluates and approves final packaging, including product name, panel copy and layout. Director of Marketing ideal qualifications & Experience: - Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, Communications or closely related field is strongly preferred - Must have a proven track record of success in consumer product marketing. Ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success that is beyond reproach. - Must have significant consumer product goods (CPG) and brand marketing background and experience - Must have significant marketing experience marketing consumer product goods to major retail stores such as Walmart, Target, Kroger, Walgreens, etc. - Experience in developing product promotional campaigns and marketing strategy - Well versed and up to date on current digital marketing strategies (SEO, PPC, retargeting, SEM, e-commerce, digital marketing automation, etc.) - Knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies and social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+, etc. - Flexible/Adaptable - able to quickly shift priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. - Must have strong and effective verbal and written communication skills - Must have strong leadership and team mentorship capabilities - Must demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment - Must have a high level of integrity and passion - Must be self-motivated and results driven TO APPLY: Interested candidates please email detailed Resume and Cover Letter to James Cameron at jcameron(AT)rapidbrandsinc.com.
