The Judge Group is currently seeking a Plant Controller for a Fortune 500 parts manufacturer in Hayward, CA. The Plant Controller will be responsible for Full Flexible P&L and must have Costing experience. This is a large company with lots of room for growth. Please let me know if you or someone you know of would like to learn more about this opportunity. - This would be a role that is Full Flexible P&L, and very hands on - The qualified Controller will have exceptional skills and will run a finance team. - Controller, Hayward, CA - Bonus: up to 30% (incredible history of the bonus paying out) - Relocation assistance provided for the right candidate except a house buyout - Strong job history Responsibilities: - Supervises and directs the financial management group - Evaluates performance and training of subordinates - Assumes responsibility of the plant financial reporting and internal control - Assumes individual contributor requirements - Coordinates division financial reporting for month, quarter, and year end - Adheres to all government regulations - Coordinates financial data review activities with external auditors - Develops and analyzes short and long range business plans - Coordinates the annual budget - Supports plant financial reporting and business activity analysis - Reviews and approves plant capital requests - Coordinates the development of direct material, labor, and overhead rates - Assumes responsibility for FIFO and LIFO evaluation - Assumes responsibility for product costing and pricing - Develops, implements, and maintains MIS systems - Provides systems and support for estimating and accounting activities Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business - MBA or CPA is highly preferred - 5 years of accounting and finance experience in a manufacturing facility - Costing Experience - Expert knowledge of budgeting and planning - Strong leadership skills ()
