The Rider team at Uber is responsible for accelerating growth and deepening engagement across 400+ cities worldwide. We re looking for an experienced data science leader to run and scale our Rider Data Science team, tackling some of the hardest data problems on the demand side of our platform. Yourteam of data scientists will partner with product managers and engineers to provide insights and build data-driven products for the most consumer-focused team at one of the fastest growing companies in the world. The Rider Data Science team is tasked with developing the analytical framework to understand the entire lifecycle of our user base, including enhancing virality through the referral flow, performing segmentation to increase engagement across use cases, and continuously experimenting to optimize the in-app experience. Advanced degree in Math, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative field, as well as comfort leveraging common analysis tools such as SQL, R, and Python.Leadership. 5+ years of experience in building and leading a team focused on quantitative analysis.Team-builder.
