Job Description:This "Lead" role is a full-time position that will be working with one of the most popular eCommerce firms in the US. We are looking for an experienced Linux Systems Engineer who is comfortable working within a production Environment - this is a key requirement for us and you will be working within Internet Operations. This person will lead the efforts of a team of systems engineers. As such we are looking for someone who is hands-on and has good leadership/mentoring skills. Here's what we need: * Extensive Linux experience (Redhat, CentOS) specifically in a production environment. * Experience with large distributed systems. * Comfortable working around systems and storage, config management, deployments of systems, etc. * Full stack web applications and web architectures (solid understanding) * Comfortable in highly scalable systems. * Experienced with virtualizations (such as VMware) * Comfortable with virtualization technologies like VMware, KVM, etc. * Excellent verbal skills - someone who can mentor and inspire others This role is extremely visible and you will be part of a great team.
