Customer Service and Sales Representative - Bike Division - Scotts Valley, CA 95066 If you have a passion in customer service and a drive to be the best, we have a great opportunity for you! FOX Racing Shox, a fast-growing and dynamic company in Scotts Valley, CA (95066), has an exciting opportunity of Customer Service Representative available. For over three decades, FOX has been an industry leader in the design and development of high performance shock absorbers and racing suspension products for snowmobiles, mountain bikes, motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, off-road cars, trucks, and SUVs. FOX Racing Shox is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will interact with customers by phone or in person to provide information and ensure the best technical service possible. The Customer Service Representative will maintain customer relationships by responding to inquires, documenting actions and collecting revenue. Specific Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative include but are not limited to: Answers customers' technical questions regarding product or service and operation or maintenance Takes care of and settles customer complaints, special orders, or returns via phone or mail Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services Receives and processes orders, provides information concerning pricing, changes in service, discontinuance, and shipping Process credit payments, while maintaining confidentiality of customer records Effectively explain the terms for customer pickup or delivery Talks with customers by phone or in person to ensure the best service possible Interviews customers to obtain information and explain available services Investigates and corrects errors, following customer and company records Adjusts complaints concerning billing or services rendered Refers complaints of product or service failure to appropriate departments for investigation Coordinates customers' service needs with other departments as required to ensure customer service May solicit sale of new or additional services or products Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from larger competitors Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues Qualified Experience 4+ years of Customer Service, Product Knowledge and Strong Technical understanding Quality Focus, Problem Solving, Market Knowledge, and knowledge of products and services at a level of complexity that usually involves up to two years of directly related study, training, and/or experience. 2 years College Degree or equivalent.
