Job Title: Shift Leader Reports to: Store Manager Job Summary Responsible for all aspects of the operation of the Pretzel Power store during hours of operation when Store Manager is not onsite; responsible for acting in a leadership role to Crew Members, maintaining operating standards and for representing Pretzel Power's mission and Philosophy to its customers, employees and community. Responsibilities 1. Perform any or all of the essential duties required of Crew Members (see Crew Members Job Description.) 2. Ensure maintenance of dress code and personal appearance standards. 3. Monitor inventory levels, production, waste, unauthorized giveaways," etc., to control cost of goods without compromising product quality. 4. Use inter office mailing system to send information to different Pretzel Power stores/HQ. 5. Encourage team work, building staff morale and the resolution of conflict. 6. Strive at all times to uphold Pretzel Power's standards of product quality, customer service and cleanliness, and its philosophy towards its customers, employees and business associates. 7. Comply with all Pretzel Power policies and procedures, including relevant federal and state regulations regarding mixers and ovens, e.g., safety and environmental standards, OSHA, EPA, Right-to-Know, EEO and ADA. 8. Trains Crew Members to maintain store cleanliness during their shift. 9. Trains Crew Members on all tasks, procedures and new products. 10. Sharing the responsibility of closing the store with Store Manager. Ensuring that all closing store tasks have been performed and completed, cash deposits are correct and secured, taking proper steps when there is a discrepancy with cash deposits and ensuring that all DCR's are completed on a daily basis. 11. Perform all of the essential duties of this position in a safe and effective manner, consistent with the prescribed method and guidelines established by Pretzel Power, Inc. 12. Participate in one on one weekly meeting with Store Manager. 13. Responsible for success of Store Support Evaluation and Mystery Shop Report for your team. 14. Responsible for supervising all Crew Members when Store Manager is not present. 15. Perform other duties as directed by Store Manager. 16. It is your responsibility to report equipment problems, customer complaints or employee conflicts to Store Manager.
