Currently hiring for one of my clients in the Richmond area. They are a healthcare startup company looking to hire multiple Pharmacists. Below is a brief job description: Two different roles, front-end pharmacists and back end pharmacists. Front-end: These are the first step of the pharmacy process. More of a clinical pharmacist role. They are handling existing and new patient profiles. So when someone signs up with Carezone, this person would verify their prescriptions, check their medical history to make sure the dosages are correct, match with insurances to see if it would be more beneficial on a generic drug, call providers for clarification, etc. Back-end: After information has been verified, these pharmacists are handling the actual filling of the prescriptions. This is more of a traditional pharmacist role. They are filling the scripts with machines, checking the labels, and sending them out. Both sides will be supervising a small group of pharm techs indirectly.
